Our recommended combination of filter cartridges are detailed below ideal for the conscientious consumer. However this system is designed in order that you can choose the filter cartridges that best suit your needs; dependent on the contamination you wish to remove from your water supply. 

Three-stage filtration process

Stage 1 – CTO Max® Pre-filter

Manufactured premium ceramic technology to provide genuine sub-micron filtration. This stage reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. Silver, incorporated within this ceramic structure provides enhanced bacteriostatic and self-sterilizing properties. The first stage filter cartridge in the triple countertop system serves two important functions:

1. Mechanically filters out harmful bacteria and parasites as well as dirt, rust and sediment.
2. Removing the above contaminants protects the Carbon Block cartridge allowing it to function more effectively and last longer.

Stage 2 – The Water Shop Fluoride filter Made in USA

This cartridge contains fine-mesh Activated Alumina to effectively reduce fluorides in your water supply by up to 97%.

Stage 3 – Carbon Block Post-filter Made in USA

A final polishing filter, the Omnipure Superblock 1 micron absolute carbon block cartridge is extremely effective at removing unwanted tastes, odours, chemicals and other substances. Made from premium coconut-shell carbon, fresher, sweeter tasting water is ensured.
